I am a licensed psychologist, holding a PhD from UMBC in Clinical Psychology. I also have four master's degrees: These are in (a) Professional Studies from New York Theological Seminary (with a focus in Pastoral Counseling and Spiritual Guidance), (b) Human Technology from American International College, (c) Acting from Brandeis University, and (d) Clinical Psychology from UMBC.
In addition to being a psychotherapist, I am a professor of Psychology at Stevenson University. There, I teach such courses as Basic Counseling Skills, Advanced Counseling Skills, and Theories of Counseling.
I am a member of the American Psychological Association, the Maryland Psychological Association, the Society for the Exploration of Psychotherapy Integration, and the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy.
